The Whitford Family have now been in business in Burnley for over 100 years - firstly as solid fuel merchants which we still are today.

Burnley became the first smokeless zone in the country in the late 1960’s making solid fuel unfashionable, this is where Whitfords Caravan Centre began. 

The late Mr & Mrs Whitford who were keen caravanners, saw a gap in the market for self tow hire of caravans and began to do, so providing touring caravan holidays for people throughout the country, the beginnings of Whitfords Caravan Centre on the site which it is on today. The company is now headed by Mrs Connie Jackson, Mr Whitfords daughter along with her son Jonathon, Husband Keith and a team of dedicated staff.

Whitfords is one of the longest established caravan dealerships in Lancashire and now handles anything to do with touring caravans, sales, accessories, servicing and repairs and much more as you’ll find out whilst exploring our website.
